I just realized that I returned "New Moon" to the library without writing down how many pages it was. I also didn't track how many pages "Twilight" was. If any of you own the books, could you please let me know the page numbers so I can add it to my total?

(And for the record, I think I liked the 2nd book more than the first. I remember the first being "ok" but didn't really suck me in. This one, though there were times when I got annoyed with it, I felt like it was a lot more exciting. There were times when I kept saying "one more chapter, just one more chapter" and then I'd read five more before I forced myself to stop. I was a bit disappointed that Bella never got to kiss Jacob, though. I haven't read the third book yet, so don't give me any spoilers. I just want to know if you think it was as good as or better than the 2nd book?)

And as for "New Moon" being better than "Twilight", I'd have to agree. I felt exactly the same way you did after reading "Twilight" the first time . . . it was TOTALLY "New Moon" that sucked me in to the series. And in my opinion, it just gets better from there. I know a lot of people say that "Breaking Dawn" sucked, but it was my favourite of the 4. So if the pattern continues for you as it did for me, you'll just get more drawn-in as it goes along. I re-read "Twilight" recently and enjoyed it much better the second time around . . . if that's any consolation? :)

I liked Eclipse better than New Moon, but then again, I liked Twilight better than New Moon. If you are a Jacob fan, New Moon will still probably be the book you like the most. :)

How did I get 547 instead of 563? I guess because I didn't count the pages from Eclipse,maybe?
I have no idea...Twilight is on my reading list and a lot of buzz is on my fav blogs about it all !
Yeah, my girlfriend wants me to give Twilight a try. I'm not opposed to reading them. I figure that since she has fantastic taste in literature (she usually only reads the classics) I'll give them a try. Best thing is though, she and I have very similar tastes, so I might actually enjoy them.
I thought Eclipse was better than New Moon, it has more action, the plot flows better...new moon was hard for me to understand the first time I read it, like the part where Bella saves Edward. But they're all good- definitely keep going!
